"Well-behaved women seldom make history" ~ Laurel Thatcher Ulrich
History tends to focus on men, or at least that's the narrative. But genealogy, well, without women, there wouldn't be any genealogy.
I focus on women in my family history just as much as men. While they may not always make the headlines, their names are there, written in the pages. Sometimes it takes more to suss out there stories, but I do my best, because they are important.
So here are some of my notable women in my tree.
- Fredericka Pfeiffer Richards
- Elizabeth Marie Hans Waldspurger
- Reumah Anne Wood Tatem
- Anna Grace Sperry Cox
- Elizabeth Sunliter Young
- Nellie Grant May Fielding Anderson
